PADI
PRO Dive School/Shop - we offer beautiful dive tours (and exciting dive training for all levels) to nearby Isla Iguana
and Isla Frailes. We rent dive and snorkel equipment, and are an authorized retailer of Mares SCUBA gear. Our
spacious dive boat offers room for group dive tours.
Our dive
trips are guided tours and appropriate for all levels of certified divers. Non-certified divers may dive under close
supervision up to 40 ft. after a short skill training session called Discover SCUBA Diving. Dive trips last approximately
4 hours. Our prices include all dive equipment, or divers may bring their own gear. We drive the Guests to Playa
Arenal, where we board our 24' panga for the short 20-minute trip to Isla Iguana. Each dive site is unique, offering
depths up to 130 ft. (40 m.) and as shallow as 20 ft. (6.6 m.). Divers enjoy seeing large green Pacific moray eels,
stingrays, schools of tuna, reef sharks, turtles, different types of live coral, multitudes of tropical Panamanian fish, and
much more! After the first dive, we enjoy a 30-minute surface interval on the beach of Isla Iguana before heading out
to a new dive site for our second dive. The dive price does not include the Isla Iguana Park entry fee, to be paid on
the island, of $4-10 pp, or gratuities. We provide drinks. We also offer dive certification training from the
beginner level all the way to the professional Dive Master certification level.
Spear fishing /
Sports Fishing Charters - fish the deep waters of Isla Iguana and Isla Frailes, teeming with Red Snapper, Dorado,
Wahoo, Marlin, Sailfish, Mackerel, and of course, Tuna (we are aptly called "The Tuna Coast"!). Our shop contains
all the supplies needed for a rewarding fishing trip, including tackle and bait.
We have two Fishing Boats for charter: a 24' single engine panga, and our larger 27' center console,
twin-engine panga, with bimini cover. Our fishing charters include all tackle and bait, beverages, and lunch.
We normally depart at 6:30 am, returning around 2:30 pm. Our boat captain and his assistant will clean your catch and
our restaurant can prepare it for you if you choose.
Snorkeling Tours - The white sand beach and coral reef of Isla
Iguana presents up-close encounters with fish and sea life. This environmentally protected park makes a great day trip
for our Guests: snorkeling, picnicking, hiking, exploring, and overnight camping. Swim with sea turtles, sea stars, and multitudes
of fish, or hike the trails overlooking the Gulf of Panama and Frigate nesting grounds. Relax in the shade of the beach
pavilion or under coconut palms, watching the land crabs and iguanas scamper in and out of view.
We depart Playa Arenal in the morning, and return between 3-5 pm, depending on the tides. Price
includes lunch, drinks, and the Park Entry Fee of $10 pp. Bring lots of sunscreen!
